Design Options
Stairs are normally manufactured from mild steel and finished to individual specifications. Some of the component options available to clients include the following :-
Treads
Raised pattern,smooth,recessed for carpet, pan-type to receive a screed, open grid, covered with non-slip studded rubber, timber overlay.
Balustrades
Vertical or horizontal bars, mesh panels, scrolled panels, solid or perforated sheet.
Balusters
Square, round, tubular, specially formed.
Handrails
Flat, tubular, convex, PVC covered.
Strings
Flat, channel, hollow section.
Columns
Square, rectangular or circular hollow sections, universal columns.
